First Team Meeting

Well, I am pretty excited about this summers trip! All the apps are in and it appears that we have a great group joining us on this journey.

On Sunday, March 4th at 6:00pm we will have our first team meeting. During our meeting we will have an intoduction to the trip, we will get to know our team members, we will cover administrative and logistic matters and we will strategize on fund raising efforts.

I am looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday!!

Underway!

The applications are in. The 2007 Team is in place - 18 of us in all. Now the preparations are underway and the fun begins!

Right off the bat - a change! We have moved our dates slightly to avoid a schedule conflict and to facilitate a better in-country itinerary. We will now depart on Monday June 25th and plan to be back home on Thursday July 12th.

Let's go to Namibia!

So it begins

Thanks to all those who made it out to the information meeting last night. We reminisced a little bit, chatted about some new opportunities we'll have this year, answered some people's doubts and questions, and even chatted with Don Berthiaume live from Arandis! In case you didn't receive an application or if you want to give one to a friend (or if you lost it already) you can download it by clicking on the link in the right column. The application is due by February 15th along with a $50 deposit. If you have any questions at all about the trip or if there's anything holding you back please don't hesitate to call us at the church and chat about your concerns. Afterall, how many people can say they spent their summer vacation changing the world?

It's that time again

Hey everyone, Well it's about that time of year again that we start talking about going back to Namibia this summer. Darin's written up a trip proposal that you can read by clicking on the link in the side bar. If you're at all interested in going please come check out the information meeting at 6:00pm on Sunday, January 28th. You're not making any commitment to go on the trip by attending the meeting.
